Academic, Speech & Debate Team

Concordia’s Academic, Speech, and Debate team continues to be leaders at the state level in 2018-19 as they secured back-to-back TAPPS 6A Overall State Championships, finishing almost 40 points ahead of the next team. As part of this accomplishment, Concordia’s Speech team won a 5th straight TAPPS 6A State Championship. Individual champions across many of the varied academic competitions included ready writing, spelling, chemistry, persuasive speaking, prose interpretation, and solo acting, demonstrating the deep and varied talents of the Academic team and coaches.
