The Concordia Lady Saders Cross Country team got the 2021 season off to a solid start with a 2nd place team finish at The Woodlands Christian Invitational this last Saturday. Following their TAPPS 6A State Runner-Up term performance in 2020, the team is looking forward to another great season. This year's team includes 18 girls with 12 of them as Freshmen or Sophomores!
Individually, Ava Z. (Sr.) led the way for the Lady Saders with a 2nd place finish in 12:48.11. Cara S. (Fr) finished 16th with Jessica M. (Jr.) right behind in 17th. The fourth and fifth individual scorers for the team were Kate J. (So.) in 27th and Presley B. (Fr.) in 28th.
