We are proud to announce that Chantal Franco has been named the new Head Coach of the Concordia Lutheran High School Girls Basketball Program.
Coach Franco brings a strong and well-rounded background in the game, with experience as a collegiate athlete, skills trainer, and coach at multiple levels, including the high school and AAU circuits. She also serves as a youth skills coach for the Houston Rockets, further expanding her impact in player development. A former starter at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, she has spent the past several years developing athletes with a focus on skill development, discipline, and confidence-building both on and off the court.
Coach Franco has also served as a dedicated varsity assistant within the Concordia Lutheran program since 2024, where she has played a key role in fostering player growth, strengthening team culture, and upholding the program’s standards. Her passion for mentorship and commitment to each athlete she encounters have made a lasting impact within the program and beyond.
In addition to her coaching experience, Coach Franco is widely respected for her ability to connect with and develop young athletes, helping them grow not only as players but as individuals. Her approach emphasizes accountability, intentional growth, and a competitive mindset rooted in purpose.
As she steps into this role, Coach Franco will lead the program with a vision centered on building strong, confident young women who compete at a high level while representing the school with integrity. She looks forward to continuing to strengthen a program grounded in purpose, aligning with Concordia’s mission of "Building Lives of Excellence Upon the Foundation of Christ."

With a strong foundation already in place, my goal is to continue elevating the standard where accountability is real, growth is intentional, and our players are prepared to lead with confidence in every area of their lives.”
