Congratulations to Concordia's winter musical Godspell on receiving two nominations from Houston's Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) in their annual Tommy Tune Awards show!

Concordia Lutheran lost 11 seniors from last year’s team but were still determined to place first in district for the fourth straight season.

Concordia Lutheran girls basketball played past the regular season last year but lost in the opening round. The Lady Crusaders only played eight games with everybody healthy and started three freshman most of the year.

However, the roster remains intact and head coach Matt Neidigk says the team was optimistic and felt good about what they could accomplish: make it back to the playoffs, win a game and see where they can go from there.

Only 14 days removed from his 14th-round Major League Baseball Amateur Draft selection by the Cincinnati Reds, former Concordia baseball catcher Garrett Wolforth has been announced as the nation's top defensive catcher among the members of the 2019 ABCA/Rawlings Division II Gold Glove Team.

Following a 2018 TAPPS 6A state championship and a 2019 Final Four appearance, the Crusaders come into the 2019-20 season at the top of the Houston private school rankings, according to VYPE.

After batting .326 for the month of August, Concordia alumni KeBryan Hayes was named the August Player of the Month for the Indianapolis Indians, the AAA affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Hayes has started at third base in 99 of his 105 games played and compiled a .989 fielding percentage to lead all professional third basemen.

Concordia Lutheran High School finished atop TAPPS 6A as the highest performing extracurricular private high school in all of Texas.

Concordia Lutheran graduate and Rice sophomore Corbett Fong finished fourth in the decathlon with 6,194 points at the Pan American U20 Championships, July 19-21 in San Jose, Costa Rica. Fong previously won the USATF U20 national championship in the event.
