We are excited to announce Mrs. Jackie Roszak has been hired as our new Head Swim Coach, rejoining the Crusaders Athletic department.
Most of our community already know Coach Roszak who previously coached the Crusaders for five seasons from 2020-2025, leading multiple swimmers and relay teams to the State Swim Meet.
In 2020-2021, Roszak coached the girls to a 4th place finish at the TAPPS 6A State Meet and then in 2023-2024, the girls placed 5th overall. Coach Roszak looks forward to bringing the teams back to compete for podium finishes at the highest private school level of competition.
Coach Roszak shared this following her hiring: “I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to return to Concordia as the Head Swim Coach. Coming back to a place that means so much to me makes this opportunity especially meaningful. My family and I are thrilled to once again be part of the Concordia community and to lead both the men’s and women’s swim programs.
I look forward to continuing to build meaningful relationships with the swimmers and their families. Most of all, I want our swimmers to enjoy the sport, challenge themselves, compete with purpose, and make memories that will last well beyond their time in the pool. I am proud to be back, proud to be a part of SaderNation, and humbled by the opportunity to continue this amazing journey with our swimmers!” - Coach Roszak
Outside of Concordia, Coach Roszak is well known in the competitive and recreational swim communities of NW Houston. She currently serves as the Director of PACK’s (Premier Aquatics Club of Klein) Swim Academy and has also been the Head Coach for Londonderry’s (near Creekside) Summer League Swim Team.
Coach Roszak was a collegiate swimmer and is very proud of the amount of Crusader swimmers who have gone on to compete at the next level and looks forward to many more over the next few years.
The Crusaders return a group of veteran swimmers led by Ella Lee ‘27 (5-time individual State Champion and Mizzou-commit), Luca Cavazos ‘28 (multiple top 5 finishes at State), Moses Culpepper ‘28, Sophia LeBlanc ‘29, Devyn Carriage ‘29, and Landon Hamm ‘29. In addition to these returners, the talented 2030 class of freshmen swimmers features 10+ new athletes that look to bolster relay teams and provide instant depth in several events.
