Concordia Alum and NCAA D-II National Champion Brynn King ’19 is set to represent Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics for Women’s Pole Vault. King is Concordia’s 2nd Olympian following Tampa Bay Rays RHP Shane Baz ’17 who was part of Team USA’s Baseball team in 2021 in Tokyo.

Concordia’s Lacrosse team has had a historic season so far with an 11-4 record, finished district play with a 3-0 record, and earned the #1 seed for the City Playoffs for the first time in school history. They are seeking to advance to the THSLL Class D State Final Four also for the first time in school history.

Grayson Blackburn ’24 Signs Esports collegiate letter of intent with Central Methodist University to become Concordia’s first Esports athlete to compete at the next level.

Five Crusader athletes from six different teams signed to play at the next level in college at NCAA Division I and III schools in Texas at the Spring National Signing Day.

For the 4th consecutive year and the 8th in the last 12 years, Concordia has been named the TAPPS 6A Vocal Music State Champions. The Crusader ensembles of Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Women’s Choral, Men’s Chorus, and Sacred 2 combined to clinch Concordia’s 11th Vocal Music title in school history in the middle of April.

In the best finish in school history, Concordia’s 2023-2024 Art Team was named TAPPS 6A State Champions at the Spring 2024 State Art Competition.
